Fairies

Also Fairy. They are the nature spirits (associated with the watery and airy element) of higher order than the elves, and generally embody the plants and flowers and lesser animal lives seen all around us. They are well known and depicted in all myths and “fairy tales”, and the cute feminine pictures of them, complete with wings is not an inaccurate presentation of some of them. This is because these little etheric-astral lives quickly take on the shape presented by the human minds that have beheld them. Over the course of centuries of close contact with humanity in civilised areas they have assumed the shapes we now recognise, but in areas where human contact is less frequent they manifest more along the lines of force fields of specific colourings focussed around their head and heart centres. The older fairies, have similar spiritual age to our children, and are nearly always in human form.
They are seen everywhere, and their joy and enthusiasm in all that they do is instantly striking. Great numbers inhabit the woodlands and gardens all around us, and are among the first of the lesser Devas to work closely with humanity in general healing work and the growth and vitalisation of plants and vegetables, as was demonstrated by the Findhorn garden in Scotland. They have many other forms of work, such as the magnetisation of sacred spots, talismans, and stones; there are fairies of the streams and seas, and those assigned to assist and vitalise human beings.

Fiery World

The spiritual realms, technically the higher mental realms, and beyond, wherein reside the members of the Hierarchy of enlightened Being. The realms of Agni, the Lord of Fire, of those who wield the Fiery principle.

Fifth principle

The principle of mind (manas), the fifth plane of perception, counting from above downwards, and also the fifth counting from below upwards, when the mental plane is counted as a duality, (the archetypal and concrete subplanes) as also the physical plane (the four etheric subplanes, plus the three concrete ones), then add the astral plane which stands in between. See also manas, Agni.

Fire

The fifth alchemical Element, the substance of the mind, wherever it is found. The Deva Lord Agni embodies this element in its totality. See also manas, fifth principle, Agni. It is also related to the luminous Akasha of space.

Five Elements

The five Alchemical Elements relating to the energies and qualities of the five planes of perception. Earth, (the physical or corporeal world) Water (the psychic, astral world, which is fluid relative to the Earth), Fire (the substance of the mind, manas, hence of the mental plane), Air (the nature of the domain of enlightenment, buddhi, śūnyatā and Aether (the plane of the causation and resolution of all karma: ātma, the dharmakāya.

Flame

A tongue of fire. The Lords of Flame, are beings who have mastered the fiery quality (Akasha) in totality within systemic space, and can thus bequeath this quality upon those who are esoterically “mindless” (the Lemurian animal-men) and must consequently gain it .

Fohat

Cosmic electricity in its primordial essentiality. Literally the fiery electrical Energy that is the basis to the Creative potency from the Mind of God, and which emanates from the Heart of Life as the breath of Light. It is the expression of that Dynamic Will that translates as electrical phenomena, in all its diversifications, when conveyed through the medium of the Nadi System of etheric Space. Fohat is the driving Fiery force of the enlight¬ened Mind in action, and Akasha is the substance that is moved by this electrical Wind. It can be viewed as Monadic Ideation, the Energy of Logoic Thought, in its Creative, Sustaining or Destructive aspects.

Fourth principle

Buddhi, the fourth Element and plane of perception.

Full Moon

Each full Moon period is a special time of meditation and concurrence by the Hierarchy to make use of the available Energies pouring forth from the respective opened zodiacal gate. It is a time when there is an alignment between the Moon, the Spiritual Sun (whose Light is reflected during the Full Moons) and the zone in the Heavens associated with that lunar period, esoterically considered. The Moon is a regulator of the cycles of time. Part of the Mystery of lunar festivals and the Moon’s influence is hid in the happenings of the past 3rd, or Moon Chain humanity. See also Wesak Festival.
